Brian’s journey in the custom home industry is a tale of passion, expertise, and transformation. As a third-generation builder, he was practically raised among blueprints and construction sites. His early years were a masterclass in the many trades that converge in home building, fueling his appreciation for both the intricate technical details and the broader project management challenges. Driven by a love for science and mathematics, Brian pursued a degree in Physics and Engineering at Purdue University, setting the stage for an impressive career.
After graduation, Brian ventured into the burgeoning world of cellular technology with Motorola. Over two decades, he climbed the ranks, taking on pivotal roles in Engineering, Manufacturing, Marketing, Sales, and General Management. As President and General Manager of Motorola Lighting, he received the coveted CEO Quality Award for outstanding product and service excellence. His career achievements were further recognized with an MBA from Northwestern’s JL Kellogg School of Management. Notably, in 1988, his dedication to quality and customer service earned him an invitation to a White House ceremony with President Ronald Reagan, where he received the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award on behalf of Motorola Inc.
In 2001, Brian embarked on a new chapter, relocating to Atlanta to pursue his lifelong passion for custom home building. He founded Santoro Custom Homes LLC, a full-service design-build firm dedicated to crafting exceptional custom homes, remodels, and swimming pools. His company is renowned for delivering a personalized, value-driven experience, seamlessly blending aesthetic excellence with state-of-the-art functionality.
Over the past two decades, Brian has brought to life more than 200 custom home projects. From opulent estates and major renovations to stunning swimming pools and entertainment spaces, his work reflects a commitment to innovation and quality that continues to set him apart in the industry.
